Here is some tips to fill "学歴・職歴"(Educational background and Work history) on your resume.

Basic Rule to fill "学歴・職歴"(Educational background and Work history)

You must fill this section following some rules (in order)

・Write "学歴"(Educational background) at the middle of the first line

・You should start to write your educational background from the second line.

・After you finish to write down your educational background, you should leave the line. Skip the next line and start a new line for your work history

・Write "職歴"(Work history) at the middle of the new line you are

・You should start to write your work history from the next line.

・After you finish to write down your all work history, write "以上" (That's all) at the right corner of the last line

How to write your educational background

You can start to write from your elementary school to the current school you attend. From left, write year and month you entered and graduated, and the name of schools.

・For elementary school and junior high school, you can only write when you graduated.

・You must write down the official name of school.

・After junior high school, you must write your history when you entered and graduated.

・For colleague, you should also write what major you take.

・If you are still in school, write "在籍中" (where I belong) at the end of the school you are in.

How to write your work history if you don't have.

If you don't have any work history, write "職歴なし"(No work history).

How to write your work history if you have.

Write down the name of company or shop where you have worked before from older history. From left, write year and month when you started and left, and the name of companies.

・Write when you started and left the job (year and month)

・You don't have to write down the history of short term job such as 3 month or less.

・Even it was a short term, if the job you had is similar to the job you are going to apply, you can write it down.
