Many people have a difficult time to write the reason for application on resume. You can refer following examples to make your own.

I want to improve my Japanese skill.

Show how much you want to improve your Japanese skill through part-time job. Don't forget to show how much you want to work.

■Example
Currently, I am learning Japanese at Japanese language school. I apply this job because I am looking for more chance to speak Japanese with Japanese people, not just only learning at my school. I will work hard to learn my job and have good communication with customer if I am hired.

I want to work at the place close to my home or school.

While you go to school, you want to work at the place close to your home or school. This is quite acceptable reason to apply. Don't forget to address you want to work hard while you mention the main reason.

■Example
I want to use my extra time wisely as I go to Japanese language school at the daytime. This job is not so far from my home and I think I can work for a long term. When I go to school, I have a chance to see the people in your work who looks so nice, and I want to work with them.

I want to earn money.

You should tell why you need money. Plus, you should tell how much you want to work for the position.

■Example
I am studying Japanese at Japanese language school. I need money for school and living but I want to earn by myself so that my parents don't have to pay for me. I am looking for a job where I can work for a long term. I applied this job because it seems to be close to my school and I can use my Japanese I learned, so I believe I can work for a long term.

I want to gain some experiences for my future.

Tell how much and why you want to learn and gain experiences for your future.

■Example
Currently, I am studying Japanese at Japanese language school. I want to work at fashion industry in the future, so I want to learn its trend in Japan through communication with customers. If I get this job, I will work very hard.

Summary

When you write the reason for application, it is very important not to finish just telling the reason. You should tell how much you want to get the job.
